Ensure bereaved parents are not alone

Help Sands provide more support than ever before

Everyone has experienced anxiety during COVID-19 restrictions but imagine if your baby has just died.  The isolation experienced by bereaved parents is greatly amplified and their ability to get support and information is diminished. Sands are moving many of our services for bereaved families online however we NEED your help to meet the growing demand for bereavement support services.

Sands is now offering online memorial services, support groups, wellness activities and forums in addition to an increased uptake of our regular services including online support as well as our 24-hour phone support line.

Sands continue to recruit & train volunteers, support & train health professionals across Australia, while we make sure we are doing everything we can so that the increased anxiety around COVID-19 does not result in greater long-term grief for bereaved parents.
